When Internet Pop Up Ads Go Bad
I can’t wait to see the commercials on TV.
Next on the network for people who can’t seem to find any good to watch “When Internet Pop Up Ads Go Bad”. See an innocent person just trying to surf the internet battle with pop ads as they take control of the computer system, leaving the innocent powerless…
I think they should be able to work that in between “When Koala Bears Go Bad” and the show “Battle of the Network Executives As They Figure Out That No One Is Really Watching Their Shows”.
Does anyone buy that gadget that “slices and dices and does the dishes and feeds the cat and walks the gerbil”?
And I’d like to know who lets their shower turn all black and grey and fuzzy before they decide to clean it with that super strength extra turbocharged shower cleaner?
*sad*
Tonight has been more entertaining(?) than recent times. I have been fighting with pop ads that seem to be mutated versions of the same ads that I’ve got software to block out. The ads I’ve come across tonight, not only pop up, but they take over my entire computer. One company went so far as to put its own menu bar across the bottom of my computer screen and replace my task bar. I wasn’t even able to turn off my computer or see my time thing because it replaced my task bar that has my start button and clock on it.
I guess pop ads are like viruses and the flu. Just when you think that you have something under control, a more vigilante form comes up and you must find a new vaccine.
It seems to me that if we can have a game show and soap opera network on TV, we ought to be able to have a pop up ad network. That way the people that like those things could go watch that network and see everything on the screen pop up or under or over or whatever. Then the rest of us who hate them things won’t have to deal with it.
Oh well, I guess I need to go find something to do.
Maybe I should feed my cat or maybe clean my shower.
Maybe I should teach my cat to clean my shower.
hmmmm…
Hey!
Maybe if I can teach my cat to clean the shower, I could get one of those infomercial things that tells you how YOU too! can learn to do it yourself at home, then I could have my own website and get some advertising and get pop up ads to…
Never mind…
